Since 2014, Matthew Salenger of coLAB studio has been a founder and co-chair of CVAC, a community advocacy group dedicated to improving the quality of life in Tempe’s downtown urban core. The group gathers regularly at coLAB studio’s office to meet with community members, city officials, and developers to work towards creating better developments and educating the public. The meeting group includes the chair of every neighborhood along Apache Blvd, business owners, and local professionals who all are interested in preserving and improving Tempe’s history and character.
